Ivan is at the top of the Sport of Kettlebell Lifting. He’s the Absolute Record Holder in all three major lifts. That means no other human on the face of the planet has done more reps within ten minutes in Jerk, Snatch or LongCycle. The first time we had him come to the U.S. back in 2007 at the World Kettlebell Lifting Championships in Miami, security came in and asked us to stop moving the floor, as it was disturbing the wedding party in the next hall where they were dancing and playing music. We told security they can ask him to stop! They just stood there and watched like the rest of us, mouths hanging open… The few who can muster words describe him as a Beast, a Monster, a Freak of Nature!
